Project Surbhi

Unlocking Potential Through Education and Mentorship

Project Surbhi is a transformative initiative by Anvarat Foundation that empowers rural adolescent girls through education, mentorship, and skill-based learning. It’s a grassroots movement designed to help girls become confident, informed leaders who can shape their own futures. The project focuses on creating safe, inclusive spaces where young girls can explore their potential, gain knowledge, and challenge societal limitations.

Holistic Development with a Grassroots Touch

Project Surbhi adopts a personalized, community - centered approach that empowers girls through:

  • Safe spaces for learning and self-expression, where girls feel valued and heard.

  • Interactive workshops and sessions on menstrual health, life skills, leadership, and decision-making.

  • Skill development training in areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Graphic Designing, and Digital Marketing to bridge the digital divide and foster 21st-century competencies.

  • One-on-one mentorship and group guidance through local mentors, encouraging long-term support and growth.

  • Working with small cohorts (around 40 girls) to ensure meaningful engagement, stronger peer networks, and tailored learning journeys.

Bridging the Opportunity Gap for Marginalized Girls

The primary beneficiaries are adolescent girls from small villages and underserved communities who often lack access to quality education, information, and opportunities. These girls are at risk of exclusion from social and economic participation due to traditional gender norms and limited local infrastructure.
