Maternal and Child Health

Improving Maternal and Child Health Through Community-Led, Inclusive Solutions

Anvarat Foundation works to improve maternal and child health in rural and underserved areas by strengthening access to essential services, revitalizing Anganwadi Centres, and promoting awareness on maternal care, nutrition, and early development. These centers act as lifelines, providing pregnant women, young mothers, and children with vital support ranging from immunization to skill-building. Grounded in local realities, our integrated approach fosters both immediate well-being and long-term community resilience.

Strengthening Systems and Empowering Communities

We focus on strengthening the healthcare system and empowering local communities through:

  • Training and capacity-building for ANM and ASHA workers to improve service delivery.

  • Revitalizing Anganwadi Centres as functional spaces for health, nutrition, and child development.

  • Running awareness campaigns on safe motherhood, antenatal care, immunization, and nutrition.

  • Collaborating with government and non-government stakeholders to address service gaps and improve institutional coordination.

Benefitting – Women, Children, and Health Workers

Our programs benefit pregnant and lactating women, children from birth to six years, adolescent girls, and frontline healthcare workers such as ANMs and ASHAs. We specifically target marginalized communities where gaps in access, awareness, and services are most acute, ensuring the most vulnerable are not left behind.
